Your investment was significant and now that your roof needs repairs you want to make sure your panels are professionally removed and safely stored until they are ready to be reinstalled in the correct way. REMOVE SOLAR PANELS
All roof repair or replacement should be done by a licensed, certified roofing professional. However most roofers won't touch the roof if there is solar attached. That's where we come in. First, we disconnect the solar system from the breakers, metering and grid interconnection. Then we remove the individual panels from their micro-inverters or from the string inverter.
Once all the electrical parts are disconnected, the solar panels are removed from the roof mounts and carefully lowered to the ground. Mounting hardware, electrical cables, and wires are then removed from the roof.
